WaterSeer Inc. Named Finalist IN Women Startup Challenge: Emerging Tech Cohosted by Google
Reston, VA., March 7, 2018 -- WaterSeer Inc. announced today that it was named a finalist for the Women Startup Challenge: Emerging Tech Cohosted by Google. The Women Startup Challenge: Emerging Tech showcased 10 of the best early-stage, women-led startups at Google focused on Agriculture Tech, Augmented Reality, Biotech, Health Tech, Energy, IoT, Robotics, Space, Transportation, and/or Virtual Reality.

The awards process began with mentoring and coaching from Women Who Tech staff and culminated with the presentation and awards on March 6, 2018 at Google headquarters in New York City where investors, business, technology and public leaders gathered to celebrate the tech sector and honor the winners and finalists.
The $50,000 grand prize went to Timeless, an App to help people with Alzheimer’s remember events, stay connected and engaged, and recognize people through artificial intelligence-based facial recognition technology. Over $280,000 in cloud services were awarded by Google.
The 10 startups were chosen from close to 300 online applications.
